Seismic İsolation

TİS  Technologic Isolator Systems

Seismic isolation (earthquake isolation or base isolation) is a method that protects the structure and all the components inside the building from the destructive effects of the earthquake by creating a layer between the building and the ground thanks to special devices (earthquake isolation devices) placed between the building itself and its foundation.

Seismic isolation (earthquake isolation or base isolation) is a special device (earthquake isolation devices) placed between the building itself and its foundation, creating a layer between the building and the ground, and the aim is protecting all components inside the building from the destructive effects of the earthquake.

Earthquake isolators (seismic isolators or base isolation devices) are placed one per column in buildings and more than one under the curtain, and the superstructure is separated from the foundation and the ground.

R & D

The field of earthquake engineering, of which the concept of earthquake isolation is a part, is one of the newest and most open areas of civil engineering, the world’s oldest engineering discipline. Being aware of this important feature of the field of earthquake engineering, TIS Technological Isolator Systems, besides producing creative, innovative and reliable solutions to various earthquake engineering problems, also conducts research and development studies in the field of earthquake engineering.

Who Are We?

After the losses due to the earthquake, the use of earthquake isolation devices has become quite common in the world.
TIS, which was founded by MIM Engineering in Turkey, combining knowledge of engineering and capital, has created a space that manages the entire process to design, installation and service especially in health sector.
